Description

Notice of Availability (NOA) for the Program Comment Plan for Army Vietnam War Era Historic Housing, Associated Buildings and Structures, and Landscape Features (1963-1975) (Army Program Comment Plan) published in the Federal Register today, 15 November 2021, at 86 FR 63003. The NOA is also attached to this email.

The NOA initiates a 30-day public review and comment period, from 15 Nov - 15 Dec 2021, for the Army Program Comment Plan.

The NOA provides the necessary information to access and to submit comments on the Army Program Comment Plan. The Army Program Comment Plan is located on the Army Vietnam War Era Housing Program Comment website: https://www.denix.osd.mil/Army-vwehh-pc under the “Administrative Documents” section. Additional technical documents are also located on the website for reference and informational purposes.

The Army provided a formal notice to the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation on 8 October 2021 of its intent to seek a Program Comment for Army Vietnam War Era Historic Housing, Associated Buildings and Structures, and Landscape Features (1963-1975) (Army Program Comment) under the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) 54 USC 306108, and 36 CFR 800.14(e). This Federal Register NOA initiates the first step in public participation for the Army Program Comment in accordance with 36 CFR 800.14(e)(2). The Army’s extensive planned public participation process is detailed in the Army Program Comment Plan.
