Applying the NEPA Process: Native American Tribal Concerns and Participation

Hosted by: 

Native American Fish and Wildlife Society and The Shipley Group

This virtual event will be held February 10th at 9:00 a.m. MST

Join our virtual workshop hosted by NAFWS in partnership with the Shipley Group to provide Tribal field staff with the knowledge and skills to successfully complete National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) planning and processes. Participants will learn about NEPA compliance levels, Tribal consultation, DOI policies, and key legal considerations that support environmental protection and Tribal sovereignty.

*NAFWS Members receive exclusive registration access to this course until January 23rd, 2026.*

NAFWS Members or Member Tribes: There will be no registration costs for NAFWS Members or Member Tribes.

NAFWS Non-Member: If you are not a Member or from a non-Member Tribe, the cost of this course is $150 and Membership is included.  

Attendance is limited to 30 participants.
