Welcome to our new workshop series designed for anyone who works with volunteers! In this 5-part series we’ll cover all the basics of volunteer engagement including program design, recruitment, management, retention, and leadership development. During each session you’ll get to brush up on the basics, address common challenges, and learn from others working in similar roles.

*This workshop is open to anyone who works with volunteers directly. This workshop a cohort in the sense that we want folks to commit to all the sessions and participants will get to talk/work/learn from other participants

Apr 2nd Session Description:

As we all know, retaining our existing volunteers is not just an excellent recruitment strategy, it’s often the mark of a truly successful volunteer program. In our fourth workshop we’ll explore ways to nurture your volunteer community as a whole. Key topics will include appreciations, 1:1s, promotions, and how to respectfully let folks go when needed.
