Join us for the 2022 annual conference in beautiful Frederick, Maryland as we work to reconnect, learn, and grow together to strengthen our knowledge and our organizations to better serve our communities.
The Maryland Geographic Names board under the direction of Jen Chadwick-Moore is your host for this year's conference. This is the first conference that will offer 'certification' for having attended the conference, during which you will attend a USBGN meeting, receive training from Federal representatives, participate in State round-table workshops, and more. Stay for the Friday toponymic tour and discover the history behind some of the oldest names on maps in our country.
