Wood For Life Agreements Workshop 2024
Thursday, December 5, 2024
Description
We would like to invite you to register here for the 2024 Wood For Life (WFL) Agreements Workshop! This is the first of three workshops occurring in the coming year to support and expand the Wood For Life Partnership. This first workshop is intended to share information on how WFL functions and to eventually develop more formal agreements between tribes and the Forest Service to support WFL.
When: December 5, 2024 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM and December 6 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Where: City of Flagstaff Public Works Building 6, East and West conference rooms (3200 W Rte 66, Flagstaff, AZ 86001) There is also a virtual option. You must register to receive the link.
Workshop goals: (1) Share how WFL currently operates in Northern Arizona and other regions with partners who are not yet participating. (2) Explore how WFL could be formalized through setting up new agreements between the Forest Service and tribal entities and other grants and funding opportunities.
Who should attend:
(1) Anyone who is looking to expand or start a WFL partnership
(2) Anyone interested in learning more about creating more agreements/grants between tribal entities and the Forest Service.
There is no cost to attend. Registration is required and will close when we reach 50 in-person participants or on or around November 25, 2024. Lunches will be provided for workshop attendees. Because space is limited, please only register for in-person attendance if you feel this workshop directly relates to your work.
