Chairman Manchin and Ranking Member Barrasso Announce Upcoming Committee Schedule
Washington, DC – Today, the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources announced its schedule for next week.
The subcommittee on National Parks will hold a hearing on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. The purpose of this hearing is to examine the President’s budget request for the National Park Service for Fiscal Year 2024.
The full committee will hold a hearing on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. The purpose of the hearing is examine opportunities for Congress to reform the permitting process for energy and mineral projects

The hearings will be held in Room 366 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building and will be webcast live on the committee’s website. An archived video will be available shortly after the hearings conclude. Credentialed press interested in attending must email dempress@energy.senate.gov to RSVP.
