Applications NOT received by the August 29, 2025, deadline may not receive funding until LATE October 2025. We will be under system blackout middle of September through middle of October and not able to process applications until they come back online. Plan ahead!
How to Apply in Grants.gov
Each Tribe must apply for its apportioned funds; grant funds are not automatically awarded. An apportionment is not a guarantee that the Tribe will receive an award. NPS must conduct a risk assessment of each tribe to determine its eligibility to receive and ability to manage federal funds before awarding grant funds. Risk assessment may also result in in additional grant agreement conditions. Annual reporting for active THPO funding must also be complete.
The application must be submitted through www.Grants.gov under Opportunity Number P25AS00490, by August 29, 2025.
