Three Sisters Gardens (TSG) is a 501(c)(3) founded in 2018 by Alfred Melbourne, a Fort Peck Sioux, with a mission to give back to the community by inspiring and empowering youth through gardening. By growing their own food, sharing with the less fortunate, and making healthy meaningful connections, youth are empowered and able to see themselves as future leaders. Through youth internships, community
workshops, and demonstration organic gardens, TSG promotes health and self-reliance by teaching the community how to grow, harvest, prepare, and distribute healthy organic vegetables. Three Sisters Gardens is based on traditional Native American values of respecting Mother Earth and all living things.
