2023 Central States Hazmat Conference

Description

The 2023 Central States Hazmat Conference will be held on June 7 - 9 at the Hilton Garden Inn and Convention Center in Independence, Missouri. The conference will include various tracks designed for decision makers, first responders and others in the emergency industry with topics including Hazmat, LEPC/TERC Basics, Transportation, Tribal, Industry, as well as Pre/Post Conference Hazmat Training opportunities. The conference will also have an awards banquet held on Wednesday night, June 7^th. This banquet will present awards to each state’s outstanding Large and Small LEPCs, as well as an award for each state’s outstanding Tier II industry partner. These award winners are chosen by each state's SERC leadership. We will have keynote speakers as well as key leadership addresses given by our Federal Partners during the conference. The conference will also bring together many national vendors.

Early bird Conference registration - $200     |     Conference Registration - $225

Early bird registration prices are good until April 1, 2023. Payment must be postmarked by Saturday, April 1 in order to qualify for earlybird pricing. All unpaid invoices will be increased by $25 per person after such time.

Reservations for accommodations must be made directly with Hilton Garden Inn by using this link.  You may also call to make your reservation by calling 877-782-9444 and asking for the 2023 Central States Hazmat Preparedness & Planning Committee group block. Rooms must be reserved by May 5, 2023. Based on availability, you may reserve your rooms at the discounted rate three days before and three days after the conference.  

The deadline to receive a full refund for registration is Saturday, April 1, 2023. Cancelations received after this deadline will not be eligible for a full refund. If your cancelation request is received between April 1 - May 1, 2023, you will receive a 50% refund. Cancelation requests made after May 1 will not receive a refund. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose to not attend an event. Cancelations must be received by the stated cancelation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. For cancelations and refunds, contact Missouri State Troopers Association at 573-635-5500. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee, contact phone number and/or an invoice number. Refunds will be issued by check.
