The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is interested in engaging with you to better understand the impact of this change as we seek to lessen or mitigate any impact. We also want to build a relationship to receive ongoing inquiries and communications to meet your research needs after the facilities close. NARA will host virtual meetings on the following dates that will be open to any Tribal Nation with an interest in our Chicago and San Francisco facilities:October 15\, 2026\, at 3 p.m. ETPlease register by sending an email to tribalconsultation@nara.gov with the meeting date(s) your tribal representative(s) will attend and we will provide the virtual meeting connection information.
